Jazz Guitar
Do you watch amazing jazz guitarists on YouTube and in person and get frustrated that you can’t play like them? Have you worked hard on scales and modes and yet you don’t feel like you’re getting anywhere? Well, friend, I’m here to tell you I went through the same thing, even going to jazz guitar college with the same frustration.
The problem is not with you, but with what you have been told with regards to how to learn jazz guitar. The best way to learn jazz guitar is to actually play jazz guitar – play solos and chord melodies and everything will fall into place from there, including the theory. Learning by imitating others you admire and then tweaking is the most direct and effective method there is. That’s what all the jazz greats did!
My site is about playing jazz guitar, not theorizing about scales and chords. There are plenty of other sites for that and forums where you can waste time getting into flame wars. If you want to learn how to actually play jazz guitar, then you’ve come to the right place. Here are some of my jazz guitar performances.
If you like my playing, contact me for webcam guitar lessons and I can show you how to play like this in the most direct manner. I show you what I play note for note! I ascribe to the Robert Conti method of teaching jazz guitar – you have to get the jazz lines under YOUR fingers.
